Bikini – more facts and photos.
In our post http://softfern.com/NewsDtls.aspx?id=141&catgry=4 we wrote about the history of bikini. Now we give some more facts and photos about bikini.
The bikini has spawned loads of stylistic variations. A standard bikini is defined as a two parts of clothing that cover up the groin and buttocks at the lower end along with the breasts in the upper end. Several bikinis can present a great amount of coverage, whilst other bikinis offer simply the bare minimum.
Topless variants might still be considered bikinis, though technically no longer two-piece swimsuits. Alongside with a variation in designs, the label bikini was followed by a frequently hilarious glossary including the monokini (top piece missing), seekini (transparent bikini), tankini (tank top, bikini bottom), camikini (camisole top in addition to bikini bottom) as well as hikini.
Bikini tops come in numerous dissimilar designs and cuts, including a halter-style neck that provides additional coverage as well as support, a strapless bandeau, a rectangular strip of material covering the breasts that minimizes big breasts, a top with cups comparable to a push-up bra, as well as the more conventional triangle cups that raise and form the breasts. Bikini bottoms differ in fashion and cut and in the quantity of coverage they provide, coverage ranging anywhere from entire underwear-style coverage, like in the case of more modest bottom parts similar to briefs, shorts, or briefs along with a little skirt-panel attached, to roughly complete exposure, such as in the case of the thong bikini. Skimpier designs contain narrow sides, including V-cut (in front), French cut (with high-cut sides) and low-cut string (with string sides). During only one major fashion show in 1985 were two-piece suits with cropped tank tops as a substitute of the common meager bandeaux, suits that are bikinis in front and one-piece in backside, suspender straps, ruffles, furthermore daring, navel-baring cutouts. Following variations on the motif consist of the monokini, tankini, string bikini, thong, slingshot, minimini, teardrop, and micro.
