How to make a Kalashnikov rifle
The Concern “Izhmash” located in Russian city Izhevsk is a large industrial company producing items of defence and civil applications. The Concern “Izhmash” OJSC was founded in 1998 on the basis of the industrial complex “Izhevsk machine-building plant” OJSC.
The have about two-hundred-year experience in the production of military and civilian small arms. The products of the Concern “Izhmash” sold in the countries of all continents.
The rifles and shotguns are built on the basis of the military small arms developed by Dragunov, Nikonov, and Mikhail Kalashnikov, the world-known designer of the AK assault rifle.
Numerous modifications of the “Saiga”, “Tigr”, “Medved”, “Los”, “Sobol”, “Bars”, “Izyubr” etc. have derived from the military models. The “Saiga” shotgun is widely used as a service weapon.
